Charity begins at home has become an age old saying that is pulled along in almost every conversation that revolves around or even remotely touches the idea of giving something to the less privileged. But do we actually understand what this proverb means. And does it just apply to our homes, or to all those that we consider out home, like the society or the nation in general. Some can also call the entire world their home. But before we head out to help the world, there are some people within our very society, near us, that need our help.
Sometimes, donating cash isn't that convenient and not everything that's extra such as clothes, commodities, or house items, can be donated or put to good use. But there is one thing that can one can donate, and not only can they save a lot of things by giving away that extra item, they can help a lot of people that are in dire need of help.
Donate cars and other vehicles to charity
Cars and other vehicles such as boats, RVs, or trailers can take up a lot of space, time, and money if they aren't being used regularly or if they no longer serve a purpose in your house. Donating such vehicles can not only help you save all the said things, but will in turn help people who are less privileged or are going through a tough time.
Help Veterans through car donations
Our military is one of the pillars of our nation's democracy and liberty. But post-service military personnel or veterans are often left to fend for themselves in a world they weren't trained to live in. Military veterans, who are often not trained in decent paying civilians jobs, find it very difficult to live in the society after their service and also coping with the stresses of daily civilian life takes a toll on them as well as their families.
Simplified Car Donation Process
At Beeper Services, we aim to help these veterans and military personnel, who have given up a huge part of their lives for the service of this nation and to protect us.
From high suicidal rates to mental illnesses, there are a number of problems plaguing the current crop of veterans. We partner with various organizations such as Patriotic Hearts to help these veterans in living a peaceful and sustained life.
Homelessness is a big issue among the veterans as 1 in 5 homeless people in our country are veterans. Their families suffer the most, as they do not receive the right kind of shelter, education, or healthcare they deserve. One can find a veteran in their own city, doing a menial job to make two ends meet.
We use the cars or other vehicles that you donate and auction them off to raise money that in turn is channeled into programs that help the veterans and train them in skills that can help them in getting jobs that are both sustainable and dignified.
